DELPHIC TEA Branding Freelance
Timeline: 4 months
Role: Designing brand identity, Editorial design, Logo design
From a small start-up business called Delphic tea in Korea, I received an inquiry to work with their branding and website layout before their launch. I was excited to be part of implementing and helping out the client's long-time vision. I modified brand storytelling and designed a brand catalog that explains the whole concept, products, and website layout. During that process, lots of communication with my client went through that made me understand the core values and intentions of this brand. Fully understanding her intention in the story of this brand was important to differentiate Delphic from other tea brands and build exclusive branding factors. I experienced how to get offered a project and balance the client's ideas effectively.
Logo
My client had already designed the main logo with Copperplate font, so I worked on building the symbol logo. Delphic’s main theme is Greek Athens and the Archaeological Site of Delphi. I tried to incorporate the temple feature to the letter D and remind the divine vibe.
Illustrations
My client had designed the main illustration. I used them to try differently to other mds and put this together for brand story.

Design Change
For this brand catalog, I wanted to add warmth and a vintage aesthetic and make divisions to emphasize each kind of tea distinctively. Giving a page for each tea made it easier to acknowledge special traits.
