The Opposites

This is an editorial project of designing and producing a book that brings together two opposing views/ideas on a topic of my choice. The topic I chose was School Uniforms, with two opinions of pros and cons. I researched and collected interviews, articles, and statistics to structure the contents and write the book. In design, I first came up with preppy vibe patterns and then got inspired by school supplies such as sticky notes and highlighters. I drew illustrations to remind of students’ doodlings. I kept the color and structure consistent yet added transitioning design factors on the page from pros to cons to make readers aware of the opposites naturally.
